Last Updated: December 29, 2024
Welcome to Codeffeine.dev. By using this site, you're agreeing to these terms.
1. The Deal
By using Codeffeine.dev, you accept these Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the site. Pretty simple.
2. What I Provide
Codeffeine.dev offers:
- Free web development tools and generators (CSS, HTML, JavaScript utilities)
- Code snippets and examples
- Tutorials and learning resources
- Development utilities and converters
I can modify, pause, or discontinue any service at any time. I'll try to avoid breaking things you depend on, but I make no promises.
3. How to Use This Site
3.1 The Rules
Use the site for lawful purposes. Don't:
- Break any laws (obviously)
- Try to hack or break into anything
- Use bots or scrapers without permission
- Upload malware or viruses
- Pretend to be someone else
- Be a jerk to other users
- Disrupt the site or servers
3.2 About My Tools
My tools are provided "as is." Here's the deal:
- I don't guarantee perfection. Generated code might have bugs.
- Test everything before using it. You're responsible for what you ship.
- Most tools run locally in your browser - I never see your data.
4. Who Owns What
4.1 My Stuff
Everything on Codeffeine.dev (design, tutorials, tool logic, content) belongs to me and is protected by copyright law. Don't steal it.
4.2 Code Snippets & Generated Output
You can use generated code and snippets freely - personal projects, commercial work, whatever. No attribution required.
BUT you can't:
- Copy my site's design, structure, or concept to create a competing tool site
- Republish my tutorials as your own
- Redistribute my educational content without permission
Basically: use the output, don't steal the site.
4.3 Feedback & Suggestions
If you send me ideas, feedback, or suggestions, I can use them freely. By submitting them, you're giving me permission to implement them without compensation.
5. Disclaimers (The Legal Stuff)
THE SITE IS PROVIDED "AS IS." That means:
- I don't guarantee it'll work perfectly 100% of the time
- I don't guarantee generated code will be bug-free
- I don't guarantee the site will always be available
- I make no warranties about fitness for any particular purpose
Use everything at your own risk. Test your code, validate your output, be responsible.
6. Liability (What I'm NOT Responsible For)
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Codeffeine.dev is not liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Lost profits, data, or time
- Issues caused by code generated by my tools
- Damages from third-party services or links
- Problems from unauthorized access to your device
Translation: I provide free tools. If something goes wrong with your project, that's on you to fix. I'm not paying for your bugs.
7. Third-Party Links & Services
I link to external sites sometimes. I'm not responsible for:
- What those sites do
- Their privacy practices
- Any problems they cause
Click external links at your own risk.
8. Advertising (Coming Soon)
I'll use Google AdSense to display ads. Here's what that means:
- Google uses cookies for ad targeting (see Privacy Policy)
- I don't control ad content
- I'm not responsible for what advertisers do
If you see a sketchy ad, let me know and I'll try to block it.
9. Indemnification (Don't Sue Me For Your Mistakes)
If you break these terms or misuse the site and someone sues me because of it, you agree to cover my legal costs. Don't drag me into your mess.
Examples:
- You use generated code without testing and it breaks production
- You violate someone's copyright using my tools
- You do something illegal with the site
10. Abuse & Enforcement
I reserve the right to:
- Block IP addresses that abuse the site (excessive requests, attacks, etc.)
- Take legal action if someone seriously violates these terms
- Remove or disable features if they're being misused
Since there are no user accounts, I can't really "ban" anyone - but I can protect the site from abuse.
11. Changes to These Terms
I can update these terms whenever I want. When I do:
- I'll update the "Last Updated" date
- Changes take effect immediately
- Your continued use means you accept the new terms
Check back occasionally if you care.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by applicable laws. If there's a legal dispute, it'll be resolved according to those laws.
(I'm not specifying jurisdiction because it depends on where you and I are located.)
13. Severability (Legal Boilerplate)
If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest still applies. Standard legal stuff.

The Bottom Line
Use the site responsibly. The tools are free and the code you generate is yours to use. Don't break the law, don't abuse the site, test your generated code before shipping it.
I'm providing free developer tools because I think they're useful. Pretty straightforward.
